The orchestra involves players of all ages with various levels of ability. Many of our members study or teach music, but equally, many members play their instruments purely as a hobby. However, we do recommend that you have a playing level of AMEB Grade 5 or higher.
The Norwood Symphony Orchestra rehearses between 7.30 PM and 9.45 PM on Monday nights in the Don Pyatt Hall, within the Norwood Town Hall on the corner of George Street and The Parade in Norwood, South Australia.
NSO membership fees are very affordable and pro-rata rates are available if joining partway through the year.
Annual rates are as follows:
• Full: $60
• Concession: $40
• Family (of 2 members): $80
