The Norwood Symphony Orchestra ran a scholarship program in 2019, aimed at supporting young South Australian students, aged 17-25, to pursue a career in classical music performance. The majority of funds were generously raised by public donations to the NSO development fund, including contributions from tea/coffee and program sales at our concerts.

1st Prize:

Norwood Symphony Orchestra Music Scholarship 2019 ($2,000)

Jointly awarded to Thea Martin (violin) and Amber Watkins (percussion)
2nd Prize:

David Reid Memorial Music Scholarship ($1,000)
